Registration and Validation of Accounts
Once they submit their information they will soon after receive a verification email that includes a temporary password which they can change after they have successfully logged into the Hoyle site.
When the user goes to the site for the first time, they will have registration menu which has two options: new user or current user or existing user.
If they select "existing user" they will be required to enter their past username and password in order to access their current account information -- this will include the email address they entered when they created or last updated the account. Once they have verified this and clicked "submit" they can proceed to the games page.
Unfortunately, if they have forgotten their password
they will not be able to access the page. We are aware that this is going to be
a problem for many users as they may have had it saved and it displayed in an
encrypted form . These users will need to contact
hoylefeedback@vugames.com for further assistance.
Tournament Director Shirts
At this time no decision has been made regarding the
creation of TD shirts. This is because all efforts have been directed to
getting Hoyle back online. Please do not email me a list of TD names, or
questions about the shirts. When a decision is made, you will be informed.
As of now, we will go on the assumption that the
shirts will not exist.
Please note that the previously released Tournament
Code of Conduct is still in effect. We will be stepping up enforcement of these
rules, and those who continue to disregard them will be denied the privilege of
hosting tournaments in Hoyle.
Hoyle Community Center
I have created a web site which lists all registered
tournament groups, leagues and ladders, along with contact information and links
to your web sites. As of this date these are all clubs that are registered with
VUG.
Please visit the site and check the information
listed for your club. If anything is incorrect, please let me know so that it
can be changed.

There is a link to the Terms of Service, and the
Tournament Code of Conduct also for your convenience. The Contact A Host link
is being worked on and will be added back shortly.
In the future, I will be adding a message forum for
use by the tournament groups. Also if you have news concerning your club,
special events or TOC's, please feel free to send it to me and I will post it to
the news page.
You have my permission to post links to this web
site.
Hope to see you all online soon, with a much better
community spirit.
